Hi there chaps,
I’ve got thermostats paired with a single sensor in each room, but I feel that it’s kinda inaccurate due to the size of the rooms.
What do you normally do in these cases, can you pair a few of these sensors with the thermostat and sum the number?

@aurondvanhelder Hi there!
Your concern about the temperature and humidity accuracy in larger rooms is quite valid. The Aqara Thermostat can indeed be associated with independent Aqara temperature and humidity sensors through the Aqara Home app. This setup allows the thermostat to prioritize automatic adjustments based on the data from these independent sensors, which could help improve accuracy across larger spaces.
However, as per the available reference information, it’s not explicitly stated that you can sum up the readings from multiple sensors to get an average. It might be beneficial to strategically place multiple sensors and manually assess the average or most representative reading for better accuracy.
If you have further insights or solutions, sharing them would definitely enrich our community discussions!
@aurondvanhelder Hi there! It’s totally understandable to want more accurate temperature readings in larger rooms. Currently, the reference information we have doesn’t cover whether multiple sensors can be paired with a thermostat and have their readings summed. Maybe other community members have found workarounds—feel free to share your experiences! If you have specific suggestions for improvement, you can submit feedback through the Aqara Home App (Profile>Help&Feedback>Customer Service) for further assistance. Thanks for bringing this up!
