Hello, I have been using the Aqara u200 door lock for a while now. It works perfectly well. However it disconnects rather quickly from the my home hub and requires Bluetooth reconnection as well as a keyboard touch to access parameters. Is that normal?
@hugues_lamarche Hello! It’s great to hear that your Aqara U200 door lock is working well overall. Regarding your concern about the lock disconnecting from your home hub, this isn’t typically expected behavior. For stable connectivity, ensure that your door lock is properly connected to your Aqara Hub, as a reliable connection is crucial for both Bluetooth and remote operations.
If the connection drops frequently, you might want to check the placement of your hub to ensure it’s within optimal range of your lock. Additionally, make sure your hub and lock firmware are up-to-date, as updates can improve connectivity and performance.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it might be a good idea to reach out to the Customer Service Team for further assistance. You can contact them via the Aqara Home App by going to Profile > Help & Feedback > Customer Service, or create a ticket here if you don’t have an Aqara Home account. I hope this helps, and feel free to share more about your experience or any other questions you might have!
You might need to move the U200 door lock closer to the Apple Home hub to have a check
Hi, Thanks for your cooment. The user settings in the aqara app are Bluetooth only, even if you already have a home hub, you need to wake up the keypad to do the user settings.
We plan to provide an updated version of Aqara Hub in August, which allows users to remotely set periodicity passwords without the need to do it on the keypad.
