I’m hoping someone can help me with a persistent issue with my Aqara U200 smart lock. I have a HomeKit automation set up to lock the door when the last person leaves home, but it never seems to trigger.
My HomeKit hub is an Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen), and it is up-to-date and located within range of the lock.
Hello @Damen1988
Try rebooting your apple smart home hub and your router and then check your automation. Do you by any chance have other apple smart home hubs (homepod, homepod mini)?
The Apple Home app can only detect the person that has been invited to the app, so please make sure that the related family member has been invited to join. This ensures they have the necessary access and can enjoy the full range of functionalities offered by the app.
Hi there, I had this exact issue. For me it was because my partner didn’t have her location as always on the Settings app for the home app section. It was set to only while using. Once I switched it over to always, the problem was resolved. You can try having a look through the settings on both of your devices and see if the location services regarding the home app asset to always. If this does not work, please reply to me and I will try going through a few other things with you.
ok, next well check the Aqara permissions. on the Aqara app, on all devices needed for the geofence abilities, go to profile - settings - system permission & check that at least Location, Bluetooth & Home Data are all allowed. also, may I ask, have you got an M3 Hub from Aqara or are you using a different hub?
