The Ecobee device I have features a multi-sensor capability, which is also available on Ecobee and Google Net devices, each of which comes with one sensor. The sensor can detect temperature and activate the AC regardless of its placement. Moreover, when in the bedroom sleeping, the sensor detects the temperature and turns on the AC, In contrast, the Aqara W200 is currently limited to performing one function at a time. Will Aqara release a firmware update to enable support for multiples temperature sensors?

You can schedule which sensor is used in your automations. The firmware update coming will be to support sensor averaging.

Yes, the latest firmware supports multi-sensor average/minimum/maximum, âfollow meâ support based on room presence, and sensor selection per preset.
Has always supported sensor selection based on automation/scene, and of course manual selection.

Yes, itâs available now. They call it a âSoft Sensor.â You pick which sensors you want averaged together.
First set up the soft sensor.
