Aqara Zigbee Compatibility Issues

So I’ve heard that Aqara’s implementation of Zigbee sometimes doesn’t play nice with other Zigbee devices. I use Z2M on Home Assistant, and so far I’ve avoided Aqara Zigbee devices because of this supposed problem. I just wanted to know how common an issue this actually is and which devices it was encountered with.

I think virtually all the new stuff works okay. There were some issues with early sensors like the door and window magnet sensor, temperature sensors that were what were termed sticky devices, meaning they would stick to a particular routing device and if that device had issues then rather than move they didn’t.

As long as you stick to the modern stuff and sensors with a T1 against them are zigbee 3.0 versions of them devices like temperature, motion etc.

If you’re really really worried, then buy yourself an M1 100 Hub pair the devices to that and share that across via matter.
