Aqare Cube T1 Pro

I’m trying to use Aqara Cube (firmware 28) for 1-2 weeks now with HA-Zigbee2Mqtt.
I’m using it in action mode.
I realized that it does not change current side sometimes.
But I gave it some testing, and figured that when I’m turning the cube in correct 90 or 180 angle, the current-side and last side variables are changing correctly.
But when I’m taking up the cube and searching for the right side, putting it down, it does not change the current side/last side variables.
Therefore I cannot use the rotate option with side 2 to switch lights, it still thinks it’s on a different side.
Maybe can a new action be added e.g. ‘custom-side-switch’ supplying the top value before taking up: ‘last side’, and when placing the new side: ‘current side’. And it could be to place the same side up. Would this collide with other existing actions?

I realized that there is a take up action for the Cube, so this would collide.
Though if there would be a ‘take-down’ action with signaling which side you took it down - that I think does not exist yet - would fill a gap. But what to do with last side value now? There might be a throw or shake in between. The question is: Can the last side value be the one for ‘take-down’ action, when it was on the table last time? Yes, I think so  This would make Cube’s action mode much more capable, then it is now.

I also realized when switching to scene mode it does refresh current side always when taking down, no matter what i do when holding it (, but it does not tell which was the last side). So if a side is related to a light, I can use the rotate action CW and CCW to turn on and off/dim lights in a more consistent and natural way than in action mode currently.

It looks like I dreamt the take-up action.
So ‘take-up’ and ‘put down’ actions would fill gaps.
Please consider to add these features to Cube.
If you are afraid that this would collide with previous behavior, you could make a settable feature flag that users can set: ‘take-up-put-down-available’: true/false like the setting for action/scene mode.
