Hi all, i’ve been having weird issues with a WSDCGQ11LM temperature/humidity settings. Every season around autumn/winter it dies, and no matter what I’d do - including replacing the battery and resetting the device - it won’t come back to the network. Come spring - a quick battery replacement and a re-pair with zigbee brings it back to life. It’s important to mention that the sensor is installed outside (in a dry place) but the temperature and humidity there are within operating conditions (-10 to 50C according to the manual). Can it be caused by the battery not having enough Juice in winter to send signals to the zigbee hub? Aqara doesn’t seem to use my other devices in the network to communicate with the gateway - and only prefers direct connections. I’m just curious if anyone has similar problems and was able to find a solution.

Sounds temperature related to me. Low temperatures will suppress the chemical reaction inside the battery and may keep it at a low enough voltage to prevent it from turning on or having enough juice to connect. What happens if you give it a fresh battery in the cold?
I thought so too, but a) it’s operating within the specs - so Aqara would have probably tested that, and b) (forgot to mention) is that if I replace the battery with a fresh one in winter - it will join the zigbee network, but then not send updates. I need to remove and re-add the device for it to report the values, and again after a few minutes - nothing. In spring/summer normal operations resume.
