Hello, it is possible now to switch Climate Sensor from Matter to Zigbee mode without Hub only via iPhone and Aquara APP. It is for users that dont use Aqara Hubs. But there is still no support for buttons in home-assistant anybody knows how to enable these buttons to use it as Thermostat remote?

When you pair the sensor in the app, then it should ask about preferred mode (Thread/Zigbee) before it prompts you to select a hub. So you should be able to upload Zigbee firmware and then abandon the process

I second this, no hub is required for changing protocols as Bluetooth is used to do that actual process of changing firmware’s when switching protocols.
Do keep the phone awake when switching.

Thanks for help. It is switched now and i have found this quirk for ZHA in HA. Testing it.
