Hi all, I recently installed two Arlo Pro4 cameras and have been experiencing some issues with motion detection. The cameras aren’t recording until the motion is almost right at the camera, and by then, the subject has already moved on. I’m wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and if there are any solutions or settings adjustments that could help improve the motion detection sensitivity.
I’ve tried adjusting the sensitivity settings in the Arlo app, but even on the highest setting, it still doesn’t pick up motion as early as I’d like. Maybe there’s a placement issue or a specific setting I’m missing. I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully optimized their Arlo Pro4 cameras for better motion detection.
On a positive note, the video quality and night vision are fantastic, and the integration with my smart home system has been smooth. It would be great to get the motion detection working as intended to fully utilize all the features these cameras offer.
