Automating Light Settings Based on Time of Day

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on setting up my room lights to automatically adjust based on the time of day. It’s been a fun project so far, but I’ve hit a snag that I’m hoping you can help me with.

Currently, I’ve got my lights set up to be cooler and brighter during the day, which helps keep the room energized, and then they switch to a warmer, softer setting at night to make it easier to wind down. The system works pretty well when I turn the lights on—they check the time and adjust the brightness and color temperature accordingly.

However, there’s one issue that’s been bugging me. If the lights are already on and the time changes from one zone to another (like from daytime to evening), the settings don’t update automatically. I have to manually turn them off and back on for the changes to take effect. It’s a minor inconvenience, but I’d love to find a way to make this process seamless.

Is there a way to configure the system so that the light settings update automatically based on the current time without needing manual intervention? I’m hoping there’s a smarter way to handle this so I don’t have to fiddle with the lights every time the time zone changes or daylight saving time kicks in.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I’m really looking forward to finding a solution that makes this setup even more efficient and user-friendly. Thanks in advance for your help!
