Hello, as a rule, automation does not work due to the user’s misunderstanding of the automation algorithm, especially version 2.0. When you have free time, review my lessons, I think many of your questions will disappear. And now please give a screenshot of your non-working automation. Thank you.

Thanks for the screenshot. In your automation option, the lamp will turn on only when a person is detected (period 15 before sunset-15 after sunrise). If you have movement and the camera does not see (detect presence), adjust the height of the G5 installation. Also, check for exact certainty, another automation with this period, just to make sure that you have selected the correct region. You can disable the period for G5 and also check the activation. By the way, the region is a separate setting on your smart home (not the one you choose when you first start it).

The detection work as it should as I get a notification when a person. Is detected the problem is the automation will not operate within the time parameters that I have set. Over the weekend i monitored the automation it was still turning the light on 1 hour 35 mins past sunrise.

If you live in Ottawa and there is a time discrepancy, I recommend contacting Aqara support support@aqara.com, indicating your Aqara Home account in the letter.

By the way, double-check if your automation is CLOUD by any chance?
