Automation when door is opened does not work

I have an automation which does not work.

I want to be informed when my door is opened.

Can you please help?

@adam16 To create an alert for when your door opens, you can set up an automation using the Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Ensure the Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2 is installed and connected to the Hub M3.
  2. In the Aqara Home app, configure the alert system to notify you immediately if the sensor detects that the door is opened while you are not at home. This can be part of your home alert system, which is armed automatically using a Presence Sensor.
  3. Or Set up the automation to do that, if the door open, then send the push alarm notification and the hub play ringtone

@gafich10 thanks for your advice but I don’t want to be informed when the door is simply opened by someone. I want to be informed when the door is not fully closed and stays opened for a while. Do you understand how I mean it?

Hi @adam16 I also think the easiest way to set up this automation would be with an additional Door / Window sensor.
