Automations a bit slow: what’s your average?

Hi all,
On pretty much all automations, I have a delay of 2 or 3 seconds.
On most it’s more than acceptable, but on wireless switches that trigger another switch, that’s a lot more noticeable (like a stairway light that can be triggered on both end, one wired, the other one wireless obviously).

I was wondering what’s your average time, and/or is there anything to do to make them faster?

Hub is the M3, quite close to switches.
Switches on ZigBee reports “Strong” almost all of the time, and those on WiFi strong as well. They don’t have a double-click mode to try to be faster.

Mine are closer to 2 seconds, faster if connected by thread (e.g. U100). Add two or three seconds if command given via Apple Watch (and of course, cross your fingers) …

Turning on lights with a wireless switch takes about 2 seconds. I’ve kind of just learned to accept it, even if it is annoying.

Interestingly, I have practically no delay (only the limitations that are set in the lamp parameters when On and Off). And my configuration is not direct M2<->router<->M3, but all Zigbee.
We need to look for the problem.

Are you referring to automations in the aqara app or some external provider like apple home or alexa?

Aqara home app, all running locally on the M3.

Thanks for that.
Looking at this and another thread on the FP2 timing, you seem to be the lucky outlier actually, as most are around the 2s mark.

But it looks like it’s technically possible.
Are the M2 and M3 plugged via WiFi or cable?
I doubt it should matter, but you never know.
