Automations not getting triggered from the Android app

I have a G410 and U200 Lite. I have the face detection for unlocking the door.
It didn’t work the first time I tried, then the next day it started working, so I edited the automation to add some custom chimes but after I set all that, it never worked.

The face gets detected correctly but never triggers the automation. Everything is on the latest firmware. I have added an M100 controller after that and made it the primary, but still no luck. The acting time for everything in the automation is set to always active.

Any pointers? TIA!

Hi, welcome to the forum. Please provide a screenshot of the automation.

I already tried that from the app, but it wouldn’t give me a file picker app to upload the screenshot along with the topic I created. It is strange that the app has all the permissions, but says “no apps can perform this action”. Let me try through the browser. That worked.

Hi, try removing the time intervals from the automation. ALSO check if the automation is cloud or local.

Thanks for the help! I got it working without changing any of the settings in the screenshot. In fact, when adding a trigger or condition or action, it is set to Everyday - Always Active by default.

When new faces are detected, you can choose to add them to a named group. So, if I have 10 faces under group “skp” using the face management function of the G410, when creating a trigger using specified face detected, it shows me 10 different “skp” in the list, instead of 1 “skp” group. They are each face in the “skp”, so I had to add 10 separate specified face detected - skp triggers. :joy:

Now that’s a PITA to manage. I have raised this with support. Hopefully, they will fix this asap.
