Hey everyone, I wanted to share an exciting project I’ve been working on for tracking baby feeding sessions. It’s been a lifesaver and has a very high spouse acceptance factor! I previously relied on Baby Buddy but decided to create something more tailored to our needs this time. Here’s a quick overview of how it works:
The system uses a single button to cycle through feeding, burping, and sleeping modes. It logs everything in JSON files and can display stats. I’ve also included the option to alternate between left and right feeding sides. The setup is entirely contained within a package file, making it easy to integrate into Home Assistant. On another note, I’ve been experimenting with color combinations for my smart home setup. My go-to colors are pink, blue, and purple—they create a calming and modern vibe. I’d love to hear what color schemes others are using in their setups!
