Hello everyone, I recently acquired a new APC Back-UPS BX750MI and wanted to share my experience with the battery connection setup. I hope this helps anyone who might be unsure about their installation process.
First, I wanted to confirm if the yellow battery connector was properly seated. The initial setup seemed straightforward, but I couldn’t help but worry about the connection’s integrity. I decided to give it a gentle tug to test the connection, and it felt secure. However, I still wanted to ensure there were no hidden issues, so I powered on the UPS to test it. Everything worked as expected, and the UPS started without any hiccups.
Now, regarding battery disconnection—if I ever need to remove the battery, I understand that simply pulling the connector firmly should suffice. But I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing any steps or precautions. After some research, it seems that most users have had success with this method, so I feel confident about it.
