I have issuse with two windowsensors P2. Both are new. After a very short time one of them reported low batterie. I changed the batterie and a few days later its empty again. Now another ran out of batterie. I have around 20 running. Anyone else with that problem?
Hi, that fast draining shouldn’t happen of course. Did you add the P2 by Matter only to Aqara or using more Matter controlled systems ( Apple, Home Assistant, Alexa , smartthings…) ?
Hi, try swapping one of the affected sensors with a working one from a different location (use fresh batteries in both). If the problem follows the sensor, it may be defective – contact Aqara support. If it stays at the same spot, the location itself might be the issue (weak signal, cold temperatures, etc.).
Also check the expiry date on the battery packaging to make sure the batteries are not outdated.
