Hi everyone! I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on. Inspired by the flight tracking topic, I’ve developed a driver using the OpenSky Network API to monitor flights in a specific area. While OpenSky doesn’t provide detailed flight info like departure/arrival airports, it offers essential data like plane coordinates and speed. The driver currently supports up to 5 simultaneous flights, which I believe is sufficient, but feedback is welcome if more are needed. It also includes customizable messages for TTS and dashboards. To get started with TTS, you’ll need a Rule Machine rule. I’m eager to hear your thoughts and suggestions!
