Hi everyone, I’m new to the community and I’m really excited to share my experience with Govee devices. Last week, I had the chance to use my new Govee Light Festival 2024 kit during my birthday celebration. It was an amazing experience! 
I used the RGBW lights to create a festive atmosphere, and they really set the mood for the party. However, I did run into a small issue with the white LED functionality. At first, I wasn’t sure how to control the white LEDs separately from the RGB ones. After some research and testing, I found that using virtual switches and rules was the solution. It worked perfectly, and the warm white setting added a nice touch to the ambiance. 
I also noticed that the color display on my Home Assistant interface was a bit off. The blue tones looked more purple, which was a bit confusing. I did some digging and realized it might be related to theming settings. I tried resetting the theme to default, and it helped a lot! Now, the colors are much more accurate. 
If anyone else is looking for a way to combine color and temperature controls on the same interface, I recommend checking out the settings in your Home Assistant app. I found a workaround that allows the color wheel and temperature slider to appear together, saving me from switching between tabs. It’s such a small change, but it makes a big difference in usability! 
Overall, I’m really happy with how Govee lights transformed my celebration. They’re versatile, easy to control, and add a festive touch to any occasion. I can’t wait to try more features and see what else I can create with them!
