Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Blink app update and how I managed to resolve the issues I encountered. Since the update, I noticed that my Blink cameras and doorbell were acting up. The live view wasn’t loading, motion detection wasn’t working as expected, and the Sync Module was frequently going offline despite having a strong Wi-Fi signal. This was pretty frustrating, especially since I rely on these devices for home security. After doing some research and reaching out to the community, I tried several troubleshooting steps. Here’s what I did:- Reset the Sync Module: I unplugged it, waited a few minutes, and plugged it back in. This didn’t fix the issue, but it was a good starting point.- Factory Reset the Router: I reset my router to rule out any network-related problems. Still no luck.- Uninstall and Reinstall the Blink App: I deleted the app, reinstalled it, and reconnected all my devices. This temporarily fixed the issue, but it came back after a short while.- Reconfigure Devices: I removed all my Blink devices from the app and re-added them. Unfortunately, this didn’t resolve the problem either. After hours of troubleshooting, I came across a forum post suggesting that the issue might be related to the app update itself. I decided to reach out to Blink support, and they confirmed that there was a known issue with the latest update. They provided a beta version of the app, which I installed. This beta version seemed to stabilize things, and I haven’t had any issues since.I want to thank the community for their support and the wealth of information available here. It’s great to know that there are so many helpful people willing to share their experiences and solutions. If anyone else is having similar issues, I recommend reaching out to Blink support and keeping an eye on their forums for updates.Happy troubleshooting, and let me know if you’ve found any other solutions or workarounds!
