Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Blink camera updates. Since the latest update, I noticed that my Blink Gen 3 cameras were no longer sending sound notifications when motion was detected. This happened twice, and it was a bit concerning. However, I managed to resolve the issue by turning my phone off and on again, which restored the function. While it was a bit of a hassle, it’s good to know that a simple restart can fix the problem.
I also came across another issue where my Blink cameras weren’t recording to local storage. I thought it would work without a subscription, but it seems like there might be some settings I need to adjust. I’m still looking into this, but I wanted to share my experience in case others are facing similar problems.
