Blink Doorbell Live View on Fire TV and Automation Tips

Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into setting up my Blink doorbell and integrating it with my Fire TV. I’m curious if anyone else has managed to get the live view from their Blink doorbell directly on their Fire TV. It would be awesome to have a seamless integration without needing extra apps or workarounds. If you’ve figured this out, I’d love to hear your setup details!

Another thing I’ve been exploring is automating my outdoor lights. I’ve set them to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise, which works great. However, with the days getting longer, I’d like to adjust the timings without manually tweaking everything. Has anyone found a smart way to automate these adjustments based on daylight changes? Maybe using a combination of sensors and time-based automations?

I’ve also been experimenting with creating custom widgets for my roller shutters. It’s been a bit of a challenge, especially getting the layout right. I’ve managed to set up the buttons on the left side, but the right side with all the information is still giving me a bit of trouble. If anyone has tips or templates for organizing information neatly in a widget, I’d appreciate the insight!

Lastly, I’m really interested in how others handle notifications with Frigate. I’ve been using Pushover to send alerts when my car arrives, but getting the image from Frigate has been a bit tricky. I’ve managed a workaround with Downloader, but I’m curious if there’s a smoother way to integrate this. Any alternative methods or automations you’ve found effective would be great to know!

Looking forward to hearing your tips and tricks!
