Brightening My Basement Office with Wyze Cam

After moving to a new home, I found myself working in a basement office with no natural light, which was quite depressing. I decided to use my Wyze ecosystem to create a ‘fake window’ to brighten up the space. I set up a Wyze Cam outside to capture the view of my garden and stream it to a monitor on the wall. It wasn’t as simple as I thought, but with some trial and error, I managed to get it working smoothly. The camera placement was key—I wanted it to show a nice view of my garden and a bit of the sky. I also adjusted the settings to ensure the video feed was stable. Now, whenever I feel stuck, I just look at the monitor and it’s like having a little window to the outside world. It’s amazing how a simple setup can make such a big difference in mood and productivity! If anyone has tips on improving the video quality or suggestions for better camera placement, I’d love to hear them.
