Hey everyone! I’m really excited to share my recent project with the Broadlink mini and my Logitech 650 remote. I’ve been trying to figure out how to integrate this setup with Home Assistant to control my Samsung TV, IPTV, and amplifier seamlessly. The goal is to switch between TV and IPTV modes effortlessly, which involves turning on the right devices and switching the HDMI source on the amplifier.
I’ve managed to train the Broadlink mini to receive the necessary IR signals, and it’s working wonders for my LG TV already. Now, I’m looking to expand this setup to handle five different scenes: TV mode, IPTV mode, and switching between them, as well as turning everything off.
I understand I’ll need to create scenes in HA and use Google Assistant to guide the transitions between them. It’s a bit overwhelming, but I’m determined to get it right. I’d love to hear if anyone has tackled a similar setup or has tips to simplify the process. This integration would make my home theater experience so much smoother, and I can’t wait to see it all come together!
