I would like to report a bug related to the Aqara FP1 Presence Sensor when used with the Aqara Hub M2.
• The FP1 works perfectly in Apple Home (via Matter Bridge) and in Home Assistant.
• Automations based on the FP1 run normally, so the sensor is correctly reporting presence events to the Hub M2.
• However, in the Aqara Home App, the FP1 state is frozen. It remains stuck on either “Presence Detected” or “No Presence”, without updating in real-time.
Steps I have already tried:
1. Removed and re-paired the FP1 to the Hub M2.
2. Renamed the device.
3. Deleted and reinstalled the Aqara Home App (sign out / sign in).
4. Reset the FP1 to factory settings.
5. Updated firmware of Hub M2 and FP1 to the latest versions.
Results:
• The issue persists only in the Aqara Home App UI.
• In Apple Home and Home Assistant, the sensor updates instantly and reliably.
Conclusion:
This appears to be a UI bug in the Aqara Home App, not a sensor or hub issue.
Please confirm if this bug is known, and whether a fix is planned in an upcoming update.
