Hello everyone! 
I’ve been diving into the world of smart home technology lately, and it’s been such an exciting journey. From setting up smart cameras to automating my lighting system, there’s so much to explore and learn. I wanted to share some of my experiences and also hear from others who might have tips or tricks to make our smart homes even more efficient and enjoyable!
One of the most interesting projects I’ve worked on recently was setting up a smart security system. I’ve been using Arlo cameras, and while they’re fantastic, I’ve noticed that sometimes the notifications can be a bit overwhelming. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d love to hear how others manage their security cameras to avoid notification fatigue. 
Another area I’ve been exploring is energy monitoring. I recently came across the Aeotec Home Energy Meter Gen5, and while it’s been a great tool for tracking energy usage, I’ve encountered some issues with the display updating after a restart. It’s a minor inconvenience, but I’m curious if anyone else has found a workaround for this. 
I’d also love to hear from those who’ve successfully integrated multiple smart home brands into their ecosystem. I’ve been eyeing some Govee products, but I’m not sure how well they’ll play with my existing setup. Any advice or personal experiences would be invaluable! 
Lastly, I’ve been experimenting with creating custom automations using Node-RED. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, but the possibilities are endless. If anyone has tips for streamlining workflows or troubleshooting common issues, I’d be grateful to hear them!
