Hey everyone, I wanted to share a really interesting experience I had with my Cam V3 system. It’s been a bit of a puzzle, but also a success story in the end. Let me walk you through it. So, I’ve noticed that my Cam V3 doesn’t store or show events during the night, only during the day. That’s been the case even before the latest system outage, so I don’t think it’s related. Basically, no matter what happened at night, there were no recordings. I can see videos from many days in the past, but only between 8am and about 8 or 9pm. What happens at night is just gone! I know recordings were made because I sometimes see them, but then when I come back in an hour or two, I see the record starts from 8am, sometimes even at 1pm, but the night videos are GONE! Good thing I emailed myself this video from 4am because it recorded the thief who stole the neighbor’s car. Otherwise, I couldn’t find it now. I’m really curious if anyone else is experiencing this and if there’s a way to fix it. I’d love to hear from someone who has a similar setup or knows of a workaround. Also, if anyone has recommendations for other cameras that handle night vision better, I’d be grateful! On a positive note, it’s amazing how technology can help in real-life situations. Catching the thief on camera was both surprising and relieving. It just goes to show how valuable these security systems can be, even with their quirks. If anyone from support is reading this, I’d appreciate some insight. Otherwise, I’m open to community suggestions on how to troubleshoot or improve the night recording feature.
