Camera E1 disconnects from Alexa Echo Show every 5’

Hi all, as the title says, I connected my Aqara E1 camera to Alexa Echo Show.

It has worked very well for 6 months or so but for the last 3 months it continues to disconnect every 5’ going back to Alexa’s home screen.

  • I switched both the devices to 2.4GhZ WiFi
  • rebooted both
  • updated the firmwares
  • joined the Home Guardian programme

…nothing works! The connection works fine otherwise for the native Aqara app and the Apple Home app on the phone. Is this something you have experienced? Any idea how to fix this?

I suspect this is a problem with the Alexa Echo Show, try a different power supply for Alexa.
