Camera not connecting to hub

Hi, I just purchased the G410 camera a few days ago due to such good Reddit reviews, however my camera does not seem to want to connect to the hub. When I first installed it, it worked fine for a few minutes but after exiting and reentering the app, the camera will not connect. I have tried resetting the hub but to no avail, and I’m not sure what else to do. There is a QR code on the camera but it won’t work with the qr scanner so I’m not sure what it’s for. Wondering if anyone can help me with this problem before I just return it pls!

Please make sure that you are doing everything correctly by watching this video guide on installing and connecting the G410.

Please tell me what is the distance between your doorbell modules, as well as the distance to the router, make sure that it does not exceed the manufacturer’s recommendation!

Hi, I am experiencing the same problem. Video worked fine for a day, now the bell rings but no video. The unit is 50cm from both the camera as the WiFi router.

  1. Is the doorbell installed outdoors without eaves and can be directly exposed to sunlight?
  2. Is it always normal to connect the doorbell at night?

  2. Yes, after 18:00 everything seems to be working fine!

Update: Everything worked fine when I removed the doorbell from Apple Home. Now a week later I’m having the same problem again: no video due to ‘Network error’. I’m considering to send the G410 back to the vendor…
