Can Alarm-Linked Lighting make an Aqara light flash during an alarm?

Hi everyone,
I have a question about the Alarm-Linked Lighting feature in the Aqara app.

I would like to add an Aqara light somewhere inside my house and have it flash rapidly and continuously when the security alarm is triggered.

The idea is that when my Home Guardian/security system detects an intrusion, the sirens will sound and, at the same time, a light inside the house will flash as a visual alarm.

Before buying an Aqara light specifically for this purpose, I would like to know:

  • Does Alarm-Linked Lighting support a flashing/strobe effect, or can it only turn a light on?
  • Which Aqara lights or bulbs support this feature?
  • Can the flashing continue for as long as the alarm is active?
  • Does anyone here use this feature as part of their security system?

If you have it working, I would also be interested to know which Aqara light you are using and how you configured it.

Yes it’s possible - lamp like T1M is easy other products may need more advanced automations

Is there an Aqara lamp that can be set to flash on and off, triggered by an active alarm :rotating_light:

Yes, I see T1M can be used, but a bit expensive lamp just for Alarm flashing :slightly_smiling_face:
