Cannot get the FP300 to work with Home Kit

I have 4K Apple TV and Home Pods - but cannot seem to get my new FP300 to work.

Hi! Can you tell us what steps have you tried doing? Is the light on the FP300 blinking, are you scanning the QR code in Apple Home? Or is it already added in Aqara Home?

OK - My main purpose for this sensor if for presence sensing.

I do not have a Aqara hub so I have used thread. Yes, I have the blue blinking light, I have scanned the device successfully but nothing appears in Home Kit.

I wanted to add that I have the Aqara Door lock and it is functioning fine.

You didn’t tell me if you scanned the code in Apple Home or Aqara Home so I assume - if you don’t see the device in Apple Home, then you didn’t scan it in Apple Home.

Thread devices added to Aqara Home won’t be automatically added to Apple Home, you should add them in either app.

How to add the accessory in Apple Home:

Follow instructions on the screen to complete the setup.

If you have completed the setup, then your device won’t be visible in the main Apple Home dashboard. It will be visible as “occupancy” in a room.

Sensors are not visible as tiles (unlike lights, locks, thermostats, TVs etc). Weird, I know, but it’s the Apple way.

Open Apple Home, tap room name and there it is!

Thank you! I was missing the last step in the last picture. I saw the figure of the guy walking and the Occupancy text, but didn’t know I was supposed to click it to set it up. Thought that was somewhere else I guess. Anyway - than you for your help!

I’m grateful! In the previous image, I was missing the final step. I was unaware that I needed to click the Occupancy text and the walking figure to set it up. I suppose I thought that was somewhere else. In any case, I appreciate your assistance!

Yep all sensors are showing like that on Apple home : temperatura and humidity ,motion sensor and presence sensor shows on the room you added them but there on top no with an card on the main home page like on aqara home app.its a bit odd but I think Apple wanted to simplify the home page on the Apple home app
