Can't add a new HUE lamp to aqara home

I have a few HUE lamps in my aqara home.
But I can’t add a new HUE lamp.
With the matter code from my HUE Bridge it does’t works.

Currently as of today Philips Hue bulbs are not compatible with the Aqara Hubs. I recommend looking at the Aqara Smart Bulbs, they are 1/2 the cost and work great together with the Aqara system.

Philips Hue bulbs only work with bluetooth or one of the Hue Bridges.

How did you pair your previous Hue bulbs? Did you do it via Matter through the Hue bridge? Is that the same method you are trying to take now?

Aqara and Hue’s zigbee implementations are different, and you aren’t be able to pair 3rd party zigbee devices to Aqara’s hubs directly.

Yes, exactly. This is why I’m asking OP for clarification on how they integrated the lights that do work for them.

Avec le pont M3 ça fonctionne parfaitement, le seul soucis c’est qu’ils sont repéré par les numéros de série et qu’il fait faire une recherche pour les renommer

When you say “Is it possible to reinstall all Matter devices to add my new HUE lamp?” Do you mean resetting all of your devices? That seems like a nuclear option, let’s not go there yet. First, can you give us a more complete picture please?

  1. Which Aqara hub are you using today? Are you saying your primary hub is the G5 Pro?

  2. For the existing Hue lights that are working in Aqara, we are assuming you paired the Hue bridge to Aqara using Matter, but please confirm there’s nothing else in the workflow.

  3. Which model is the new Hue device that you are trying to add?

  4. How many child devices do you have paired to your Aqara hub?

  5. How many devices do you have paired to your Hue bridge?

Thanks for the detail and for bearing with me as I try to help :slight_smile: I’m not familiar with this specific product. Are you referring to the Hue White & Color light bulb? Or one of their standalone lamp products - like a floor lamp? Mind sharing a link of the product?

Can you now confirm - this particular device works fine in the Hue app?

If so, then you could try removing Hue from Aqara and re-paring the bridge again. Aqara may not be refreshing the bridged device list automatically. I hate to tell you to do this, but it might be your only choice at this point.

Yes, I have the HUE white & color and it works fine in the HUE app.

  1. In the Aqara app go to the accessories tab and select your Hue bridge.
  2. Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner to get to the settings.
  3. Scroll down and click Remove Accessory.

Sorry there ist no entry there to remove the HUE Bridge :frowning:

Yes, I found the entry for delete HUE Bridge.
An after new HUE setup al lamps are there.
