The holiday season is always a magical time, especially when you can capture Santa in action! This year, I decided to set up my Alarm.com security cameras to catch Santa delivering gifts. It’s a fun way to surprise the kids and create lasting memories. Here’s how I did it:1. Preparing the Camera Setup First, I made sure my Alarm.com app was updated to the latest version. I checked each camera to ensure they were compatible with the Santa Security feature. The kids were thrilled when they saw the Santa icon pop up on the app—definitely added to the excitement!2. Choosing the Perfect Spot We placed a camera near the front door, where Santa would enter. I made sure the camera had a clear view of the area. The kids even decorated a little area around the camera with some holiday lights, making it extra festive!3. Customizing the Snapshot Using the Santa Security feature, I captured a still image and added one of the festive Santa overlays. The kids loved seeing the different options and picking their favorite. It was a great way to involve them in the process.4. Sharing the Magic After Santa’s visit, we downloaded the image and shared it with family and friends. The kids were over the moon when they saw Santa ‘in person’!
