As a passionate gamer and smart home enthusiast, I couldn’t help but celebrate PlayStation’s 30th anniversary this week! 
The updates to the PlayStation 5, especially the nostalgic sound and appearance features, have been a delightful addition to my gaming setup. It’s amazing how technology can bring back memories while pushing boundaries forward.
On the smart home front, I’ve been exploring ways to integrate my devices more seamlessly. For instance, setting up my Govee Aura Mini Night Light was a breeze, and their customer support has been fantastic—quick to resolve any issues! 
It’s comforting to know that brands like Govee prioritize their customers’ satisfaction.
However, I’ve encountered a few challenges. For example, tracking when my doors were last open using Home Assistant required some creative scripting. Initially, I faced issues where the status would reset after a restart, but with some research, I found a workaround using conditional statements. It’s rewarding to solve these puzzles and make my home smarter!
Another interesting project I’m working on involves parsing HTML data from a temperature recorder. While regex can be tricky, I’ve made progress by breaking down the problem into smaller parts. It’s a reminder of how versatile smart home automation can be when combined with the right tools.
