I have a G410 doorbell and G5 Pro camera, each of which are connected to Homekit. Generally I’m happy, but each of them show up as Security Systems in Apple Home, which seems redundant. More of a problem though, is when a notification pops up that somebody has rung the doorbell from Apple Home, clicking on the notification takes me to the Security System control instead of the streaming camera. I’d much rather go to the camera to see who is at the door instead of arming/disarming the security.
My questions:
- Is there a way to merge the two security systems in apple home so there is only one house level control instead of two?
- Is there a way to fix the notification problem so the Apple Home doorbell notification takes me to the camera feed instead fo security system?
- Is there a way to just add the doorbell to Apple Home and not include the security system at all?
Overall I’m quite pleased with the Aqara products and Apple Home integration, but this is a bit of a pain point for using the doorbell.

@marstonstudio You seem to be experiencing an issue with the G410 doorbell and G5 Pro camera showing as separate Security Systems in Apple Home, leading to redundant controls and notification redirection problems. You can contact customer support for assistance.
Contact the Aqara Home App Customer Service Team (Profile> Help & Feedback > Customer Service) or scan the QR code:
This will be more efficient. If you do not have an Aqara Home account, “Please

Bro I have 5 devices and they all have the security. I’ve been trying to figure this out since my M1S days. I would love to know the answers to your questions.
Did you get a fix for the “Is there a way to fix the notification problem so the Apple Home doorbell notification takes me to the camera feed instead fo security system?”
For me I disabled the “Tamper Alarm” in the Aqara app - Camera settings - AI Detection.
But I’ve heard from others that this didn’t fix it for them.
Firmware 4.3.8
This is a long-standing feature request. But no, there isn’t.
Nope. Hopefully one day they will make this possible.
Thanks for confirming my suspicions! I’m relatively new to Aqara’s ecosystem.
I guess my strategy going forward will be to never buy any Hub devices. I was hoping to add a G5 Pro camera to my home but if it means more clutter in the Home app I’ll save myself $100 and stick with the G100.
