Charging Issues and Smart Home Solutions

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a recent experience I had with my Arlo cameras. I’ve been using them for a while now, but recently I noticed some charging issues. Two of my older cameras with magnetic charging weren’t holding their charges as long as promised. I hadn’t charged them in a month, and when I tried to charge them again, there was no current going in. The app even showed them as fully charged, which was confusing. I was worried my wife would be upset if they went dark while we were away on a trip.

After some research and troubleshooting, I found that a firmware or app update might have caused the issue. I tried updating the app, and to my relief, it worked! The cameras now charge properly, and I feel more confident about their reliability.

This experience made me think about how important it is to keep our smart devices updated. Sometimes, a simple update can resolve unexpected issues. I also realized the importance of having backup solutions, just in case.
