Choosing the Best Smart Light System: Juno Smart Wafer vs. Halo Wiz Pro

As I embark on a new construction project, I’ve been researching the best smart light systems to install. After narrowing it down, I’m now deciding between the Juno Smart Wafer (Bluetooth/Zigbee) and the Halo Wiz Pro (WiFi). Both have their pros and cons, and I’d love to hear your experiences or insights!

The Juno Smart Wafer is appealing because of its seamless integration with Zigbee, which I’ve heard works well with other smart home devices. However, I’ve also come across some issues with the Halo Wiz Pro regarding WiFi connectivity, which makes me a bit hesitant. I’ve read that Hubitat has built-in support for Wiz, but I’m not sure how reliable it is in the long run.

I’ve set up a few smart lights before, but this is my first large-scale project. I’m particularly interested in how these systems handle dimming and color temperature adjustments. Have any of you had success with either of these systems, or do you have another recommendation? I’d love to hear about your experiences, especially if you’ve faced similar challenges!

Additionally, I’m curious about the installation process. Does one system require more wiring or configuration than the other? I’m aiming for a smooth setup with minimal headaches. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your help! I’m excited to get this project started and can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
