One of the devices I’ve been working with is the Chromecast, which I’ve integrated into my setup. However, I’ve hit a bit of a snag that I’m hoping the community can help me with.
I added a media player tile to my dashboard for my Chromecast, but unfortunately, none of the controls are working as expected. Volume adjustments, skip functions—they just don’t seem to respond. I did manage to set up a custom command that controls the volume, which works perfectly, but I’m struggling to find a way to incorporate this command into the dashboard itself. Is this something that’s possible, or am I missing a step here?
I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps, like resetting the Chromecast and checking the network connection, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. I’m really curious if others have encountered similar problems and if there are any workarounds or solutions that I might not have considered yet.
