I have a Gledopto GL-C-208M LED Controller (which supports Matter) which I had previously been working fine through the M3 Hub and the Apple Aqara Smartphone App.
After a recent internet outage it would no longer connect to the system so I took it off Aqara and tried to reinstall it again. The controller become discoverable no problem and the lights breathe in a fashion that shows it is being connected to by the system. When it comes to the final stage of onboarding the LED Controller it gets stuck on ‘registering’ before timing out and giving a ‘Code: 1’ error. I’ve tried all the resets on all the devices and I’m really stuck as to what the problem is.

Hello there and welcome to the forum.did you try to unplug first the M3 from the power for an min or two and then plug it back and try adding back that controller?
Step 1: Temporarily disable the 5 GHz band on your router or move far enough away so your phone connects exclusively to 2.4 GHz.
Step 2: Power-cycle your router and wait for it to fully boot up.
Step 3: Perform a hard reset on the LED controller (usually holding the power/reset button for 5 to 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes amber/yellow).
Step 4: Retry the pairing process through the Aqara Home app.
