Winter has truly arrived in my area, and it’s been quite a chilly start to the season! 
Yesterday, I had to brave the cold to go to work, and I was completely unprepared for the 35°F temperatures. The frost on my plants and fogged windshield were a stark reminder of the cold days ahead. While I’m not thrilled about the tasks of winterizing my home, like removing lights and preparing the chicken coop, I did find a silver lining in this cold spell—inspiration for some beautiful lighting effects! 
I decided to create a ‘Frosty Garden’ scene that captures the essence of a cold winter morning. Using my smart lights, I programmed a gradual shift from warm, cozy hues to cooler tones, mimicking the frosty glow of dawn. It’s amazing how a little creativity can turn something as mundane as turning on the lights into a delightful experience.
