I’ve been experimenting with color combinations in my smart home setup, and I thought I’d share some of my findings and tips with the community! 
When it comes to pairing colors for devices like LED strips or smart lights, I’ve found that using complementary colors can create a really cohesive and visually appealing setup. For instance, pairing soft pinks with calming blues has been a favorite of mine, especially in my living room where I want to create a relaxing atmosphere. 
Another tip I’ve discovered is to stick to a single color family when layering lights. For example, using different shades of white (from warm to cool) can add depth without overwhelming the space. This approach works particularly well in bedrooms or reading areas where mood lighting is essential. 
I’ve also found that incorporating user feedback from forums has been invaluable. A few weeks ago, I came across a suggestion to use a color wheel app to determine complementary colors before making any purchases. This has saved me a lot of time and guesswork!
