Hello everyone! I recently decided to expand my HMIP system (running on RaspberryMatic-RPI4) to better control my floor heating (HmIP-FALMOT-C12). In the process, I ordered some additional wall thermostats and, in a moment of fatigue, chose the HM-TC-IT-WM-W-EU model. While I was initially excited about its features like the extra buttons, daily schedule display, and potential for weekly programming, I later realized it’s not an HMIP device. This has led to some unexpected challenges!
My main questions are:
- It seems HM and HMIP devices can’t be grouped together. If I avoid groupings to prevent complications, what are the implications of using direct connections instead? Specifically, I want to control two heating circuits in the living room with one wall thermostat.
- Can I still utilize the ‘0-24 Daily Schedule Display’ feature with this setup?
