Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience with combining Wyze smart bulbs with traditional LED fixtures. I recently upgraded my ceiling lights to include a Wyze bulb alongside a regular LED bulb, and it’s been a fantastic setup!
Initially, I was concerned about how the combination would work, especially since the fixture is manually switched every day. However, I found that the Wyze bulb’s scheduling feature has been a lifesaver. Even with the manual switch, the bulb remembers its programmed settings and turns on/off as scheduled, which is perfect for when I’m away.
One thing I noticed is that the manual switching doesn’t interfere with the bulb’s smart features. It simply acts as an override, which is exactly what I wanted. This setup has allowed me to maintain control over my lighting without compromising on the smart functionality.
