Hello everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. I wanted to share a little something I’ve been experiencing with my smart home devices and see if anyone else has encountered similar issues or has any tips to resolve them.
First off, I must say I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality and functionality of the products I’ve integrated into my home. However, like any technology, there are the occasional quirks that can be a bit puzzling. For instance, I’ve noticed that my camera doesn’t record any videos or send alerts if the last alert was within the past 5 minutes. This seems to happen consistently, and while the first alert is almost immediate, subsequent ones are delayed. I’ve tested this by setting up motion detection in different sensitivity modes and even tried it during daylight with good lighting conditions. The results were the same across both beta and stable app releases.
Does anyone else experience this delay? Is this a known feature or something that might be addressed in future updates? I’m curious to know if others have found a workaround or if there’s a setting I might have missed that could resolve this.
On another note, I’ve also been experimenting with integrating multiple brands of smart devices into my ecosystem. It’s been a learning curve, but I’ve managed to get most things working seamlessly. However, I’m still struggling with organizing my saved videos. It seems I have over 999 clips, and I can’t figure out how to delete the ones I no longer need. Does anyone have a tip for efficiently managing and deleting old videos?
