Configuring the Alarm System After Switching Hubs (E1 → G5 Pro)

Hello everyone.

I spent the last few days moving my Aqara devices from an E1 hub to the Camera Hub G5 Pro. After removing all devices, re-pairing them, and resaving all automations, I deleted the E1 hub. After that, the alarm system was offline. I then launched the “Security Settings Guide” under Settings, where I was able to set up the alert system again. Once I was done, I changed a few settings, such as “Alarm bell response.” There, and under other settings, the E1 hub that had already been deleted was still visible but grayed out. I was then able to delete the old hub there as well. I hope that I have now removed the old hub everywhere, but I’m not sure. If anyone has any tips for me, I would be very grateful.

Since I integrated the G5 Pro alongside the E1, the camera’s speaker always emits a confirmation tone after the night alarm is activated. Which is okay. In addition, the alarm system was set to deactivate automatically at a certain time. No confirmation tone was emitted during automatic deactivation. Now, after the complete changeover, a confirmation tone is also emitted during automatic deactivation. So my question is: is it possible to configure the confirmation tone?

One more question: under Alarm-Linked Lighting > Add, I only see “No data.” I have integrated several Single Switch T1 modules to control lights and multiple lamps via Matter. Are only Aqara Smart Lighting products such as LED Bulb T2 displayed here?

Question 1: I don’t think there is, at least I have not found a way.

Question 2: I’ve found the same restriction, I don’t know if it’s a Matter issue that in the future with software updates it may be an option or entirely a different reason. I’m just not sure, but I did notice the same thing as you have.

OK, I found a solution myself in the meantime. If you set the camera to 0% volume and set the alarm to 100% in the alarm system settings, no confirmation tone will be emitted when the alarm is activated or deactivated. However, the alarm tone sounds when the alarm is triggered.

It would be strange if you couldn’t deactivate this on an outdoor camera, otherwise your neighbours would always know when you turned the alarm on or off.

Regarding the second question: I will probably continue to use automation to trigger my lights when the alarm is activated. However, could anyone with an Aqara Smart Lighting product check if it is listed under ‘Alarm-Linked Lighting’? I would be interested to know.
