I’ve got an M3 Hub which is currently connected via PoE, I’d like to leave it powered via the ethernet cable but connected via wifi. Is this possible?
Hello, if you have WiFi connected, then PoE works when connected, and WiFi will connect automatically when PoE is disconnected. WiFi is a backup channel, PoE is the main one.
Yes, I’ve managed to get it onto wifi but as soon as I reconnect the PoE it changes back. Rather annoying.
It’s possible by using a Poe data/power split adapter. The adapter must have a usb c type to power the hub. This is the easiest method I believe
