Hello everyone, I’m excited to share my journey of integrating my Sony stereo hi-fi set into my Homey ecosystem. Currently, I’m using a Logitech Bluetooth receiver to stream music, which works well, but I’m eager to take it a step further by connecting it directly to Homey for seamless control and integration with my smart home setup.
I came across the Ayrlic S10 preamplifier, which supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, but it’s not listed as compatible with Homey. I also looked into the Sonos Port, a Wi-Fi receiver, but the Sonos app doesn’t specify Homey compatibility. I’m curious if anyone here has successfully connected a stereo system to Homey and how they achieved it. Any tips, experiences, or recommendations would be invaluable!
I’m particularly interested in whether there are any workarounds or custom scripts that could enable this integration. I’d love to explore options like using MQTT or HTTP requests to control the stereo through Homey. If anyone has faced a similar challenge or has expertise in this area, I’d greatly appreciate your insights!
