Hey everyone, I’m trying to connect my Echo Dot 3Gen to Home Assistant, but I’m running into some issues. I’m currently running Home Assistant in a VM on Proxmox with a Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth stick. I managed to pair the Echo Dot using the terminal, but the connection doesn’t seem to work properly. Every time I try to connect, I get the error: org.bluez.Error.NotAvailable.
I really want to use my Echo Dot as a local speaker for playing audio, alerts, or even text-to-speech notifications, but I just can’t get it to connect. I’ve tried a few different methods, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else encountered this issue before? I’d love to hear if there are any workarounds or solutions out there.
