As a homeowner passionate about smart home automation, I’ve recently embarked on a project to integrate my Hive TRVs and thermostat into a more localized setup. While the Hive integration has served me well, I’ve been curious about the possibility of controlling these devices directly through my ConBee II stick, eliminating the reliance on Hive’s cloud services.
After some preliminary research and trials, I discovered that connecting Hive TRVs via the ConBee II stick isn’t straightforward. I attempted to put the TRVs into pairing mode and discover them on the ConBee stick, but unfortunately, it didn’t yield any results. While this was somewhat expected, I’m still hopeful that there might be a workaround or a method I haven’t considered yet.
