Hello everyone! I’ve recently been exploring the world of smart lighting and I’m curious about integrating my LED lights with Apple’s HomeKit ecosystem. I’ve heard so much about the seamless integration with iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches, and I’d love to experience that myself.
I currently have a few LED lights that I’d like to connect, but I’m not entirely sure where to start. I know that some brands offer HomeKit compatibility right out of the box, but I’m not sure which ones are reliable and user-friendly. Have any of you had success with specific brands or models?
Additionally, I’ve heard that it’s possible to integrate non-HomeKit devices using Home Assistant. Would that be a viable option for me? I’m open to setting up some configurations if it means getting my lights to work with Apple’s ecosystem.
I’d also love to hear about your personal experiences. How easy was the setup process for you? Did you encounter any hiccups along the way, and how did you overcome them? Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
